The lady.

I am the moon,
Bright and beautiful,
Notwithstanding my flaws,
The craters and marias on my surface.
I wax when I see beauty and compassion,
I wane when I see pain and destruction.
I do not shine always like the proud sun.
I do not emanate heat.
I depend on him for my luminescence,
Because it's strength inspires me
To be happy ergo I wax
when I reach the pinnacle and full circle
Of my emotions.
I shine like a goblet of silver
peeking through a veil of clouds.
Making every object
That look in awe at me
Gleam with joy and glee.
