The lady in white

Daffodils

As the sun peeks through the clouds,
Sprightly yellow daffodils awake.
They unfurl a happy yellow fan
Spreading happiness at day break.

I saw the joyous flowers,
What a raputurous sight it was,
I gently plucked them with joy,
And dropped them in a vase.

They adorned my room ,
The sprightly metaphor for spring,
They fill my soul with happiness,
And appreciation for the heavenly being.
