Faded morn Glory

I am a faded morn glory,
Time's wilting my dewy freshness.
I was once the glory of dawn.

Happiness enriched my eyes,
Joy entwined in my curls.
These cheeks shone with love,
My mouth encased the mother of pearl.

Winds of change blew away the sheen,
Love lost so lost was my soul,
I am no more the glory of morn,
I am no more the beauty of dawn.

I shall still wait,
I shall change my time,
I shall again be the glory of morn.
I shall again be the muse of dawn.
